Whether it’s law students at Stanford shouting down a Judge invited to speak, or the “100 days of violence” in the summer of 2020 deemed “mostly peaceful protests,” that involved the burning and looting of privately owned businesses and the destruction of public buildings, the end of the American Republic — the experiment in individual freedom that NEVER existed on any large scale until after July 4, 1776 — may be identified by future historians with the indictment of our former president, Donald J. Trump.
We have a current president who has encouraged the vilification of 74-to-100 million people stating, “equality and democracy are under assault” by Trump and the MAGA Republications; and, we have a vice-president who encouraged the rioting in the summer of 2020 and helped raise money to bail-out the rioters.
The real insurrection occurred in the summer of 2020 and NOT on January 6th ... look at the official congressional January 6th video-taps released to Tucker Carlson. The “QAnon Shaman” (Jacob Chansley) was sentenced to prison for 41-months for obstruction of official proceedings after spending almost one year in jail before his sentencing hearing. What did he really do? The Capital Police escorted him throughout the Senate building on a tour. That’s it! Unlike the looters or insurrectionists in the summer of 2020, Jacob Chansley did not steal anything, burn down anything, or destroy any property; he just acted foolishly and dressed outlandishly!
While Congresswoman Maxine Waters, who has paid her adult daughter over $1 million from Campaign funds, is on record and video-taped encouraging her supporters to harass Trump Administration officials; and threatened to take down then President Trump; then afterwards, Mike Pence. In April 2021, while waiting for the verdict in the Derek Chauvin trial, she was “calling on violent rioters to continue their efforts.” Waters told the rioters, “We’ve got to stay in the streets . . . we are looking for a guilty verdict . . . if we don’t, we cannot go away.” She also told BLM protesters “to get more confrontational.” Sounds like Maxine may be the real insurrectionist...
After Trump’s indictment, former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi is on record stating that he has a right “to prove his innocence” at trial. But isn’t that contrary to the American principle of justice that Trump is innocent until proven guilty!?! Pelosi seems to believe what most of the mainstream media and academia believe, similar to what happens in communist/socialist countries: Show me the person and we will find a crime, give them a fair trial, then hang them! Sounds like a “Banana Republic” and NOT the USA!
If you need more information about how corrupt Nancy Pelosi is, along with many others on both the left and right, read Peter Schweizer’s book, Red Handed, How American Elites Get Rich Helping China Win; I would have added, and sold-out the American Middle-Class. In addition, you will find out how “the Biden [crime] family bagged some $31 million from individuals with direct ties to the highest levels of Chinese intelligence—and [how] Joe Biden personally benefited while softening his position on China.”
Schweizer’s book, Red Handed, came out in 2022 before more recent incriminating events occurred, e.g., the Chinese Spy Balloon fiasco, the Penn Biden Center funded by up to $70 million from China, where unsecured classified documents were found, and the revelation that Hunter Biden had access to classified documents that may have gotten into the hands of his Chinese partners. By the way, how long has Hunter’s laptop been around and he still has not been indicted!?!?
Joe Biden and certain family members may have committed treason, yet, the mainstream media and the political left are more interested and hopeful that former President Donald J. Trump will be convicted of a manufactured process crime, where absolutely no one was harmed or defrauded. Their mantra: “Arrest him. Jail him. Humiliate him for life” does NOT fit what used to be the American principles of due process and innocent until proven guilty.
Yet, in many of our democratically controlled cities, including New York, real criminals, caught on video-tap committing battery and robbery, are immediately released without bail, e.g., in New York City under DA Alvin Bragg, 52% of felony cases have been dropped to misdemeanors and 6,500 accused felons have gone scot-free. Rather than waste any time arresting and convicting real criminals who loot, rob, rape, batter, and murder innocent city residents and visitors, it’s more important to go after former President Donald J. Trump for a manufactured crime relating to a business classification of payments, made from a private company, where absolutely nobody lost any money or was defrauded.
The indictment of former President Donald J. Trump is purely political, representing the weaponization of the legal system by one political party to destroy anyone who opposes the implementation of their socialist policies, which is destroying our American Republic and the experiment in individual freedom handed down to us by our Founders. Alvin Bragg’s 34 count indictment is the same alleged crime based on one single transaction representing a payment of $130,000 to Stormy Daniels, which was legal and is NOT a crime. Bragg states that Trump’s business falsified its business records by paying his former attorney over $400,000 for legal services, which Bragg believes was to reimburse Cohen for the $130,000 payment to Stormy Daniels. Bragg is counting every invoice, every payment, and every entry into the business records as a separate crime.
When you make a payment to your attorney for an invoice for legal services, what would you call it? It is my understanding that Michael Cohen recorded the $400,000 as income for professional services rendered. Even if Trump’s Chief Financial Officer reclassified $130,000 of the $400,000 payment to another category in the books and records, it would still be a legally paid business expense, and no one was defrauded!?! Arguing over a classification of a legally paid business expense can NOW be a felony in New York... unbelievable...
It's interesting that Bragg has made many efforts to downgrade felonies to misdemeanors for real crimes, but this time, he is trying to upgrade a perceived misdemeanor—which should be unconstitutional—to a felony, when there are no victims.
Trump’s attorneys will most likely make motions to dismiss (which should happen), change of venue, and ask the judge to recuse himself. In addition, they will probably argue that the New York Statute does not apply to a private company where payments made were legal and no one lost any money, and no one was defrauded, along with the fact that the statute of limitations has expired to bring such a suit.
I would consider arguing that the New York Statute, when applied in a case like this, is unconstitutional under Article I, Section 10, “No State shall . . . pass any . . . Law impairing the Obligation of Contracts.” Trump’s business had a legitimate contract with Stormy Daniels and his former attorney, Michael Cohen; and neither lost money nor was defrauded.
Unfortunately, as Harvard Law Professor Emeritus Alan Dershowitz has predicted, in democratically controlled Manhattan, Trump will most likely be convicted. However, on appeal, the conviction will be overturned.
As law professor John Baker has stated, “There is no one in the United States over the age of 18 who cannot be indicted for some . . . crime.” Trump’s indictment is a great example of what can happen to someone who tries to “fight city hall” or the Deep State in today’s environment. A billionaire can afford the fight... most of us cannot, including the many GOP millionaires that may run against Trump in the GOP presidential primary.
How did we get to this point? As Frederic Bastiat (1801-1850) explained, the law has been perverted and the instrument or tool that has been used is Democracy:
“The law has been used to destroy its own objective: It has been applied to annihilating the justice it was supposed to maintain; to limiting and destroying rights which its real purpose was to respect. The law has placed the collective force at the disposal of the unscrupulous who wish, without risk, to exploit the person, liberty, and property of others. It has converted plunder into a right, in order to protect plunder. And it has converted lawful defense into a crime, in order to punish lawful defense.”
“Legal plunder can be committed in an infinite number of ways. Thus, we have an infinite number of plans for organizing it: tariffs, protection, benefits, subsidies, encouragements, progressive taxation, public schools, guaranteed jobs, guaranteed profits, minimum wages, a right to relief, a right to the tools of labor, free credit, and so on, and so on. All these plans as a whole—with their common aim of legal plunder— constitute socialism.”
“It is upon the law that socialism itself relies. Socialists desire to practice legal plunder, not illegal plunder. Socialists, like all other monopolists, desire to make the law their own weapon.”
When Bastiat wrote these words, he was describing what was going on in France at the time and other parts of the civilized world. He praised the United States in 1850, “There is no country in the world where the law is kept more within its proper domain: the protection of every person’s liberty and property.” Bastiat acknowledged, “But even in the United States, there are two issues—and only two—that have always endangered the public peace,” i.e., slavery and tariffs are plunder.
As Joe Biden and many Democrats have publicly stated, Democracy is “under assault” by Trump and the MAGA Republicans. We can only hope! Democracy or mob rule has destroyed many of our great cities and is about to destroy the greatest empire that ever existed, the United States of America. As Bastiat stated, socialism and communism “are basically the same plant in different stages of growth.”
Our Founders agreed with Bastiat and understood that Democracy leads to Socialism, then to Communism. When Ben Franklin left Independence Hall on the final day of the Convention in 1787, he was asked, “Well Doctor, what have we got?” He replied, “A Republic, if you can keep it.” The American founding fathers feared and even loathed democracy, described by James Madison in Federalist #10, as “the violence of faction.” A faction represented an organized group of individuals interested in forcing their views on all other people. Read the U.S. Constitution and you will not find the word democracy anywhere. In fact, many so-called modern-day scholars grudgingly refer to the Constitution as anti-democratic, which it is, and for a reason!
Democracy came from the ancient Greeks... if it worked, Greek would probably be the dominant language spoken throughout the world today. Aristotle described democracy as a perversion of constitutional government and tyranny by the many, ultimately leading to evolution.
We’ve seen democracy in action... the riots in the summer of 2020... the looting and destruction in many of our formerly great cities... law students shouting down a judge they disagreed with... the indictment of former President Trump on trumped-up charges... the taking of property from A and giving it to B... “and so on, and so on.”
We have failed to heed the Founder’s warnings regarding human nature. Scoundrels were allowed to infiltrate the Government, which in turn established Government-controlled compulsory schooling. This has resulted in the indoctrination of several generations of Americans, who desire to tear this country apart and institute socialism, which resulted in compulsion, slavery, and poverty throughout the Old World. Unfortunately, these lost Americans have no real knowledge of the failure of socialism throughout the ages, going as far back as Plato.
As Dr. Will Durant discovered, “On one point all are agreed: civilizations begin, flourish, decline, and disappear—or linger on as stagnant pools left by once life-giving streams.” John B. Glubb agreed, “the rise and fall of great nations are due to internal reasons alone,” and, that it takes ten generations (25 years per generation) or 250 years for “human beings to transform the hardy and enterprising pioneer into the captious citizen of the welfare state.”
If we continue our decline like all past empires, the United States Government may implode as 2026 fast approaches or sometime thereafter. We are at a crossroad. It’s too late for civility. The socialists shout down their opposition, always in the name of democracy. Socialists use “the power of the law” demanding “the use of force in order to substitute their own inclinations for those of the [MAGA Republications and Libertarians, or for that matter, anyone who respects private property and disagrees with them].”
To avoid another American Revolution or the implosion of the United States Government (federal), we must vote for those who want to reduce taxes and regulations, shrink the size of government, and destroy the Deep State. The only political party that might consider these ideas is the Republican Party (GOP).
We need a President who has the experience, the courage, and the financial ability to take-on the Deep State. At this critical moment in time, only Donald J. Trump, has the complete desire and financial ability to do what needs to be done. You don’t have to like him to realize he has before and will soon again, restore this wretched country we have become into the prosperous beautiful America we all deserve. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis—after the Deep State is crushed—would make a fine President in 2029 and beyond.
It is also imperative for the Supreme Court to step-up and do its job, as explained by Justice Bradley, “It is the duty of courts to be watchful for the constitutional rights of the citizens, and against any stealthy encroachments [by Congress and Government].” Three simple rule changes by the Supreme Court would begin the principled process of restoring individual freedom and private property rights. Remember, both political parties are full of scoundrels that cannot be trusted but, the GOP is the lessor of the two evils. Democrats/Socialists must be stopped and voted out-of-office! And, just as important, we need a Billionaire Businessman, not a professional politician, as President, willing and financially able to take-on the Deep State.
