Growing up in Chicago, I regularly listened to Paul Harvey’s “The Rest of the Story.” His typical radio program started with the setup in which he began with an intriguing tidbit, often an historical event, a famous person, or an everyday object, problem, or opportunity.
He would then take the listener on a journey, sprinkling seemly unrelated details, while dropping hints and clues along the way. He might offer historical context, personal anecdotes, or even philosophical musings, all the while keeping the listener guessing about the ultimate point. At the moment of maximum anticipation, Paul Harvey would reveal, “the rest of the story.” This could be a surprising fact that changed the listener’s understanding of the entire narrative.
If your only source of news is the “drive by media”—as described by the late Rush Limbaugh—you will never hear “the rest of the story.” For example, if you only listen to ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, and MSNBC, the open border policy promoted by the Biden Administration is compassionate and anyone that opposes it is a racist and inhuman.
What you don’t hear, as explained by Hannah Davis, former Research Assistant for The Heritage Foundation, “The absence of border security [under The Biden Administration], in conjunction with nonexistent interior enforcement, has made the U.S. a fertile breeding ground for human trafficking.” To be more exact, the United States is a “breeding ground” for slavery! And, knowingly or unknowingly, progressives, democrats, the “drive-by media” and many republicans are complicit in this heinous crime of indentured servitude, more properly described as slavery.
“Human trafficking—[slavery]—is a global business generating $150 billion in illegal profits. It encompasses forced labor, sex trafficking, organ trafficking and more. Human trafficking increased massively in the last fiscal year [under the Biden Administration]. Arrests rose 50%; convictions soared by 80%. The vast majority, 72%, of those trafficked in the U.S. are immigrants. Most of them are here illegally.” Hannah Davis
Davis continued, “Many are women and children who are highly vulnerable to being smuggled and eventually trafficked” or sold into slavery. “A study from the Coalition Against Trafficking in Women estimated that 60% of unaccompanied alien children, or UACs, are caught by cartels and exploited through child pornography and drug trafficking.”
Not only is there a negative economic impact from an open border policy, along with a national security threat and concerns about potential social unrest and cultural clashes (e.g., support for Hamas/Palestine against Israel/Jews), the Biden Administration’s open border policy is also a “breeding ground” for the enslavement of women and children in the United States.
Now you know “the rest of the story.”
If you want to continue to hear “the rest of the story,” you need to find news and information from sources other than the “drive by media.” Even Fox News is becoming more mainstream on certain issues. However, Mark Levin’s Life, Liberty and Levin on Saturday and Sunday evenings is a superb source of information.
NEWSMAX is an excellent alternative to the “drive by media.” The Chris Salcedo Show offers incisive political analysis and interviews with prominent figures at 4:00 pm Monday through Friday, followed by Carl Higbie at 5:00 pm. Carl is a former Navy Seal, whose team was court martialed by the current Secretary of Defense, Lloyd Austin, for killing an extremely dangerous terrorist in Iraq during our withdrawal. At one-point, General Austin contemplated turning Higbie’s Seal Team over to the Iraqi government for prosecution!? Higbie described our withdrawal from Iraq as a complete debacle and the reason Austin should have never been appointed the Secretary of Defense. Austin’s withdrawal from Afghanistan, along with being AWOL and hospitalized for a week without telling anyone, proves Higbie’s point!
Carl Higbie Frontline is one of my favorite programs and I record it every day. He has extremely interesting guests, including Judge Napolitano and Michael Savage, The Savage Nation.

As Jefferson wrote, “Our liberty depends on the freedom of the press and that cannot be limited without being lost.” Unfortunately, the mainstream media has been commandeered by the democrats and progressives, becoming a propaganda machine for Socialist/Marxists ideals. As Jefferson predicted, our liberty is quickly fading away…
